Founded by Lord Rank in 1972, we are a family charity that celebrates research in optoelectronics and nutrition. These two fields were at the heart of Lord Rank’s interests and businesses.
We support talented researchers with grants and studentships.
Our symposia bring together bright young scientists and the most eminent in these fields. Unlike any others, they give researchers the chance to discuss, debate, spur each other on, and make connections that last.
And with our Prize, we celebrate the breakthrough ideas that emerge, the people behind them, and the difference they make to the world.
