COVID-19 RESPONSE FUND

Hardship grants of £5,000 for final-year PhD students
whose work has been disrupted by COVID-19

The Trustees of the Rank Prize Funds are offering £5,000 hardship grants to final-year PhD students in nutrition and optoelectronics (including visual science) at UK universities whose studies have been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and who would not otherwise have the financial resources available to complete their studies.

University departments are invited to nominate one final-year PhD student only to receive an award. It is the responsibility of the Head of Department to ensure that no more than one application is submitted from their department.

Applications should be submitted using this online form.

Please make sure you have read our Terms and Conditions below before submitting the application.

Application Deadline: Midnight on Monday 24th May 2021
